The accumulator is the centrepiece of our racing car. It consists of 284 lithium polymer cells (Li-Po), which are assorted in so-called stacks in order to provide the energy for our car. 142 cells are as a series circuit and 2 as parallel cells interconnected. Every lithium polymer cell has a maximum voltage of 4.2 V, leading to a max voltage of 596.4 V for the entire battery. All cells are manufactured specifically for the formula student and therefore expensive, with a price of  30 € per cell. By offering this LiPo sponsorship we want to offer the opportunity to be a part of the project, with a small effort of 30 € per cell.
